About Mark Lachniet

I am a student of Michigan State University's department of English, hoping to eventually acquire a B.A. in English. I have vacillated in my studies from Computer Science, to Environmental Studies, to Secondary Education, and finally to English. As a perpetual student (or so it seems) I have been able to study a variety of things that interest me. History, Literature, Spanish, and Education are at the top of the list for humanistic interests. My working focus, however, is computer technology. I am a certified Netware Engineer and work as a network specialist for Holt Public Schools. Thus, while my working life if focused upon packets and protocols, I am interested in slowly acquiring a knowledge of the culture and history of humans.
